The owners of the site graphics for each page can be found in the "Page Graphics Credits and Linkback Logo" section at the bottom of each page where the graphics appear. Click on the Linkback Logo to take you to the web site of the owner of the graphics. In some instances there will be multiple Linkback Logos where graphics have come from more than one source. Those graphics MAY NOT be taken without the express permission of the owners of such graphics. The unauthorized taking of those graphics will be considered an infringement of copyright and the owners will have recourse to legal action. The graphics are not available for purchase or use for any other purpose.

Illustration Graphics
Illustration Graphics appear on Family Pages and pages of text such as stories and narratives and are used to illustrate the content of the article or decorate the article. Photographs on the Family Pages are the property of the creators and are subject to copyright restrictions. They are not available for purchase or use. Other graphics may be part of the Set Design Graphics group or might be graphics considered to be part of the GALLERY of the ARTS, both categories are noted above, even though they may appear outside of those sections. In both instances, the procedures for obtaining those graphics are noted in the above sections. DO NOT take the graphic(s) from this site.

Linking Back to Graphics Images
You may not link back to this web site in order to "use" or "borrow" the graphics contained on this site. This site pays its server for the amount of site traffic generated. This site traffic is called "bandwidth" and linking back to the graphics on this site in order to use them on other web sites is considered "bandwidth theft". If a link back to this site and to a specific graphic or graphics is found to occur, action will be taken to prevent the occurrence in the future. DO NOT link back to any graphic(s) on this site.

The e-mail feature included on the CONTACT page of this web site is for personal communication to The Hand Family Network only. It may not be used for any other purpose. It may not be used for commercial purposes or advertising, i.e., "SPAM".

Harrasement
The e-mail feature may not be used for harrasement: defined as the sending of e-mail messages that interfere with the operation of the website. These messages may be sent on pupose or as a result of a wrong e-mail address that has not been corrected. If harrasement is found to occur, this site and the site provider will take action to to prevent its occurrence in the future.

Threats
The Hand Family Network will consider to be a threat, any indication or expression of intention to inflict harm, create danger, harm or distressful situations either to this web site or personally to person(s) associated with or known by this web site. Any threat determined to be of a serious or potentially serious nature will be turned over to policing authorities.

CONTACT FORM
The CONTACT FORM uses a CGI script to interpret the data provided for transfer to the Hand Family Network e-mail address. The CGI script is located on the server of the Web Host Provider. The data provided by the CONTACT FORM to the Web Host Provider is not used by the Web Host Provider in any way, but is simply passed through their server to the Hand Family Network e-mail address. If the CONTACT PAGE is used, the person using the CONTACT PAGE may choose which fields or types of information to be filled-in. The Hand Family Network does not use the information provided in the CONTACT PAGE in any way other that to make note of the comments, keep track of the number of respondants and reply to those who make a request. The Hand Family Network does not make the information from the CONTACT PAGE available to any other party for use in any manner.

E-mail
Use of the e-mail communications feature on the CONTACT page of this web site normally involves the use of the NAME and E-MAIL ADDRESS to identify the sender of the message. Any or all of these items may be omitted by the sender, but are requested if a reply is needed. Such information is used solely for communication purposes only in regards to the content of the e-mail message. No other party is given the information contained on the e-mail form except for any party that has been requested to receive such information by the sender.

GUESTBOOK
Entries in the GUESTBOOK are viewable by any person who wishes to visit the Hand Family Network web site. The GUESTBOOK is monitored and subject to edit, including deletion of the entry, at the discretion of the webmaster. The GUESTBOOK uses a CGI script to interpret the data provided for transfer back to the Hand Family Network web site. The CGI script is located on the server of the Web Host Provider. The data provided by the GUESTBOOK to the Web Host Provider is not used by the Web Host Provider in any way, but is simply passed through their server to the Hand Family Network website. It is not mandatory that the GUESTBOOK be used in order to view this site. If the guestbook is used, the person using the guestbook may choose which fields or types of information to be filled-in. The Hand Family Network does not use the information provided by the GUESTBOOK in any way other that to make note of the comments, keep track of the number of respondants and reply to those who make a request. The Hand Family Network does not make the information in the GUESTBOOK available to any other party for use in any manner. In the event that after making an entry in the GUESTBOOK, the user wishes to delete the entry, two methods can be used:
1. Go to the Hand Family Network home page, select CONTACT from the main menu and fill out the form, indicating your request in the message window. Indicate the name you used when posting to the GUESTBOOK. 2. Send an e-mail to guestmail@handfamily.org, include your request and name used when posting to the GUESTBOOK in the message section.

Cookies
"Cookies" are NOT used by The Hand Family Network web site.

Server Activity Logs
The web site Host Server and every web site Host Server on the internet maintain logs detailing activity on each of its sites. These logs record each web site accessed, the pages on each site accessed, the Internet Provider (Web Host) address of each person accessing the site and the date and time of each visit. These logs cannot be by-passed and must be agreed to by every person using the Internet. The Hand Family Network uses data from these logs to identify which pages are being used the least, or not used at all, on the website so that they might be deleted, and pages that are being used the most, so that additional data may be included. That is the only use The Hand Family Network makes of the Server Logs. The Hand Family Network does not provide the information contained in the logs to any other party for use in any manner.

The Hand Family Network does not sell, rent or distribute the information given to this web site. It does not collect or use the information given to this web site for any other purpose than that for which it was given.
