OUR PIONEER MOTHER

As told to

LENORA JOHNSON MACDONALD

1912-1920

PREFACE

The following few pages represent the autobiography of the noble pioneer life of Ann Willden Johnson as told by her to her loving daughter, Lenora J. MacDonald.

Ann Willden Johnson - Grandmother - was all that any one individual could possibly mean to me. She was a true representation of a Christian life which found its exquisite success through pointing the way toward the highest possible in the Christian realm of existence.

Her life, as related in this booklet, exhibits authentic facts, as told by her in her home in the valley from 1912 until her passing to the world beyond, April 4, 1920.

This publication is but one tribute we pay to her - that we, following in her footsteps over the rugged road of life have gained greater confidence and great strength through the thought that the world is a brighter and a more happy place in which to live because she passed our way.
